Shipping + Handling
Garage Doors
When Garage Door Spares receives a garage door order the ordered will be placed with Gliderol within 1-2 business days. Every door is made to order and Gliderol will generally take 3-4 weeks to manufacture the door.
Once the order is received you will have 5 business days to amend or cancel the order to get a full refund. After this time it will be at the discresion of Garage Door Spares if any refund can be given.
All damage to the garage doors must be notified to Garage Door Spares via email within 5 days of being collected. It will then be at the discretion of Gliderol if a replacement door will be given.
Openers
After the order has been received, we will be in contact within 1-2 business days to organise a collection time from the factory in Prestons. Feel free to note a preferred pick up time in the check out, we will do our best to accomodate your needs.
Remotes and Spare Parts
All orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 Business Days of receiving the order via Australia Post.
Standard Tracked Postage $6.00 (3-6 Business Days)
Express Tracked Postage $9.00 (1-3 Business Days)
Please note that during peak times + Public Holidays there may be shipping delays that are out of our control and delivery times may be longer.
If you need to cancel a purchase after the product has been dispatched, please note that the postage fee may not be refundable, depending on how far the order has progressed.
Free Pick up from our Prestons factory
Once the order has been received we will be in contact via email within 24 hours to organise a collection time from unit 58, 10 Yato Rd Prestons NSW 2570. If it is urgent please note this on the order or follow up with an email and we will ensure the collection asap.
Returns
No refund or exchange can be offered on garage door sales as they are all made to order. If you change your mind within 24 hours after the purchase we can offer you a refund of 95% of the sale amount due to the fees we incur.
No refund or exchange can be offered on openers. If you change your mind after the purchase but before collecting we can offer you a refund of 95% of the sale amount due to the fees we incur.
We are happy to offer you a refund for change of mind on all sales of remotes and garage door spare parts within 14 days of receiving your package. We charge a 5% restocking fee that will be discounted from the refund.
To be eligible for a refund all items are to be returned in the same condition you received it, unused, in their original packaging with all accessories. We highly recommend that you send the parcel back to us via tracked post, so we are able to track the package as we are not responsible for any items lost or damaged in the mail.
Items returned that have been damaged will either be partially refunded or returned to you at your cost, on a case-by-case basis as determined by Garage Door Spares.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
We will process all refunds within 48 hours of receiving the package.
If Garage Door Spares was at fault (incorrect item sent, etc) all postage costs will be covered by Garage Door Spares. Of course, no handling fees apply when Garage Door Spares is at fault.
Warranty
Garage Door Spares warrants its goods against faulty workmanship and material for a period of 12 calendar months from date of dispatch for all products unless stated otherwise on the quote or Invoice at time of order. Garage Door Spares, at its own discretion, will repair or replace the faulty goods provided that:
1. The goods were installed and operated With A certified person; Certified electrician
2. Goods subject to possible warranty claim must be returned at the purchaser’s expense to the company’s manufacturing plant. Return packaging and freight costs shall be prepaid by the purchaser.
Garage Door Sparesshall be relieved of all obligations under this warranty if
1. The goods have been operated outside its intended or quoted guidelines
2. Incorrect fitting of ancillary components working with our product i.e. operating with any components not suitable or outside technical parameters
3. Incorrect maintenance procedures as outlined by the company
4. The goods have been repaired, altered or modified without the company’s written approval
5. The goods are operated with any accessory equipment or parts not approved in writing by the company
Garage Door Spares warranty only covers goods manufactured by the company. Outside purchases e.g. all accessory parts are covered by the supplier’s warranty and are subject to the supplier’s evaluations of warranty claim. In no way can the company be held responsible for decisions made on warranty claims by these suppliers.
In no way will Garage Door Spares accept repair charges for unauthorised work carried out without prior written approval from the company.
Garage Door Spares shall under no circumstances be liable for any form of incidental or consequential damages connected with or arising out of supply, performance or use of any goods or any part thereof. The company’s total liability shall in all circumstances be limited at the option of the company to either replace the defective goods or part thereof or repair the defective goods or part thereof.
Any technical advice is provided by the company in good faith but does not make any warranty expressed or implied. In relation to such technical advice which is used or relied upon by the purchaser shall be at its sole risk.
